Hello Dear Tycoons! 💖

I'm back with a quick update on the progress of Tycoons' fulfillment across the globe:

US & UK Hubs: Great news — the shipments are finally on their way! Our freight manager is closely coordinating with the relevant warehouses to ensure a smooth customs process and swift delivery. I wil keep you updated when the games arrive at the respective warehouses.

Asia & ROW Hub: Fulfillment through VFI is set to begin this week! Addresses have been finalized, and the team is ready to start dispatching games.

India Hub: We’re thrilled that almost all backers in India have received their games. If you haven’t received yours yet, please don’t hesitate to reach out directly at [email protected] — I'm here to help!

I am so grateful for your continued support and patience. Navigating the first Kickstarter with so many ambiguities wasn't easy, but the finish line is in sight, and we can’t wait for everyone to experience Tycoons soon! 🚀

🚢 Tycoon Shipping Update 🚢

Hello Tycoons!

I hope you’re all doing well! Here’s a consolidated update on the movement of Tycoons across the globe. We know it’s been a long journey, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and support as we work through the final stages of fulfillment 🙏

UK & US Hubs: We’ve encountered some delays with securing container bookings for our hubs in the UK and US. Additionally, the evolving political climate in the US—particularly around the elections—led to uncertainty in freight and customs regulations, making cost consolidation difficult. However, we have now finalized our contracts, confirmed our ports, and secured shipment bookings. The games should be on their way soon! 

We are sending 2 bulk shipments to 2 GamesQuest Hubs; one to the US for North America Fulfilment (US, Canada etc) and one to the UK for European fulfilment.

India Hub: We’re excited to share that customs clearance at Mumbai Port is finally complete! Since this was our first time going through the process in India, it took longer than expected. But the games have now arrived at our warehouse, and we will begin fulfillment in batches starting next week.

Asia & Rest of the World (ROW) Hub: The games have officially reached the VFI Warehouse in China! With the upcoming Chinese New Year celebrations, I have received word from the VFI team that fulfillment will begin in March after the holiday break.

We understand that delays can be frustrating, especially after such a long wait. However, we want to assure you that our team is working tirelessly to get your games to you as soon as possible. The final stretch is always the hardest, but we are almost there!

✅🏭Production Complete! Shipping Process Begins!🚢🟨

Dear Tycoons,

We have thrilling updates to share! Production for Tycoon: India 1981 KS edition, Standard Edition, and the Coinage Casino Coins is now complete! 🎉 As we speak, we are coordinating the shipping processes with our trusted partners—GamesQuest, VFI, and Dynamic Cargo (India).

Thanks to your amazing cooperation, 99% of backers have confirmed their addresses! For the few who haven’t yet, we’ll reach out to you individually. If you haven’t confirmed your address, please do so at the earliest to ensure a smooth delivery process.

Logistics Update

The Tycoon and Coinage boxes are now packed into cartons (4 and 6 units per carton, respectively) and are on their way from the Longpack factory, to the warehouses of our three shipping partners. From there, they will be sent to distribution hubs via ocean freight, which is the most time-intensive part of the shipping process.

Once the games arrive at their hubs, deliveries to backers will begin. Here’s the tentative timeline provided by our shipping partners:

VFI (Asia, Australia & ROW) and Dynamic Cargo (India):

• Arriving at warehouses: By Dec '24
• Shipping to backers: Jan-Feb '25 onwards, in phases

GamesQuest (North America and Europe):

• Arriving at warehouses: By Jan '25
• Shipping to backers: Feb-Mar '25 onwards, in phases

Convention Highlights

Last weekend, we had the privilege of demoing Tycoon: India 1981 at Meeplecon Mumbai, India’s biggest tabletop convention. It was incredible to see so many enthusiastic players try the game in its almost-final form. Here are some snapshots from the event! 📸
