✨I’m happy to report that production is in full swing! The printing for the plastic, wood, and metal components had started last month and is underway, and now the paper products are in progress as well. Everything is moving along smoothly, and we’re roughly 1 to 1.5 months away from starting worldwide shipping. We've started discussing the regulations and documentation with our main partner Gamesquest, as well as VFI for Asia and ROW, and we are trying our best to get you Tycoon copies as soon as possible!

With that timeline in mind, this is the perfect moment to finalize your shipping addresses. You will soon receive an email asking you to confirm your address from Backerkit. You may also login to your Backerkit  account from where you had filled the survey, and edit your address if required. You may get your survey link from below in case you had forgotten:

Note that change in country/pincode might lead to change in shipping costs. Please note that once the address is confirmed and locked in, we won’t be able to make any changes, so it’s important to ensure everything is correct :)

Tycoon: India 1981 Live Unboxing: I’ve just received the pre-pressed samples from Longpack, and I’m thrilled with how the game has turned out. I can't wait to share it with you, along with the highly anticipated poker chips. We’ll be doing a short unboxing video on Instagram this Sunday (25th August), and you’ll be able to watch it later if you miss the live session. The times for the insta-live are: 21:00 IST / 19:30 EST / 12:30 CST.

Sample update: I’m relieved to report that overall the sample from Longpack has come out really really well, in terms of quality, functionality and visual appeal. We’re making some final tweaks as of now (such as reducing the size of the player screens to make them more user-friendly, etc.) Once these adjustments are complete and approved, we’ll move forward with mass production. The game should be printed within 4-5 weeks, but I've been told the Coinage Casino Coins might take a couple of weeks longer as it requires most craft. If all goes well, we’re aiming to begin shipping in October. I’ll keep you updated as we get closer to that date and I am more confident about final timelines.

Finally, the Longpack pre-pressed samples reached my office; I spent the weekend going through each of them and adoring the fine work of art! Pleased to share the remainder of the photos, and probably what is most awaited and most requested: Coinage Casino Coins! These have come out excellent, clunky and so neat! ✨😍 I can't wait to play with them sooon!

That's most of what I got from the factory, at the time of sharing the rest of the components were still being processed.

Update: Tycoon Samples (Base game) has arrived in India (in New Delhi)! Will take few more days to reach home (Mumbai) after getting clearance from local customs. Will keep you all updated. Thank you once again :)

📦Pre-pressing is complete! Mass Production begins July🏭

Dear Tycoons,

I hope this message finds you well. First, I'm happy to report that the pre-pressing phase is now complete! 🎉 The pre-pressed samples are on their way and are expected to reach India within the next 2 weeks. I can't wait to share the pictures with you once I receive them! I know, this stage has been pretty time-consuming, but it represents a crucial milestone in our journey, ensuring that every detail is perfect before we proceed to mass production.

Speaking of mass production, we anticipate starting this process within the next few days upon receiving the samples and approving them. Once I approve, Longpack is poised to immediately begin mass production. This puts us comfortably on track for a July-Aug production timeline, and we are hoping to complete this final step by the end of August, gearing up to plan and begin worldwide shipping. This is the estimated timeline as of now.

Zenwood Preorders

On another note, half of the worldwide Zenwood Parikrama/GridL/Fortify pre-orders have been shipped! Many of you may have received shipping notifications already. The remaining half of the pre-orders will be shipped in the coming week. The delay was due to clearing some formalities with a new seamless and secure shipping provider, but I believe this will greatly enhance your shipping experience moving forward. I appreciate your patience as we navigate these final steps.
